The summer months are a time for happy experiences. Let’s all do what we can to make sure these times are good ones for all of us. It is important to remember that poor decisions, in the warm days ahead, can never have good consequences.
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for 15-20 year olds. Alcohol impaired driving accounts for 32% of all driving fatalities. The American Automobile Association tells us that the risk of a car crash increases 50% when texting, and that 21% of all fatal accidents involving teens were caused by this behavior. We all love the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. Let’s all be committed to making great memories of our family gatherings, because we made the right decisions for ourselves, and our loved ones.
Please remember too, that if our family can ever help yours, do not hesitate to call. We care about you, and those you love.
