I am a retired police officer who investigated hundreds of accidents throughout my career. Many accident victims were victims twice, when I shared with them that the “other driver” was without insurance.

Dangers of Driving Uninsured or Underinsured
According to the Insurance Research Council, one in 10 CT drivers are on the road without insurance. We have all heard about serious accidents in which the person at fault had little or no insurance and the accident victim is out of luck, to say the least. Uninsured or underinsured drivers are highly irresponsible, for their own welfare and for yours.
We have had hundreds of clients who have had histories of safe driving, whose lives and futures were horribly impacted because one of these drivers crashed into them! Please make sure that you have more than just the minimum coverage required. Otherwise you could find yourself behind a very large 8 Ball consisting of vast sums of money that will be coming out of your pocket.
