On Saturday, August 28th, Trantolo & Trantolo proudly presented Grammy award-winning artist Darius Rucker, with special guest Tyler Booth as part of our Summer Charity Concert Series.
The Darius Rucker Benefit Ride & Concert celebrated the nation’s newest Boys & Girls Club, the new South End Club in Hartford, which officially opened August 31st.
Concert & Fireworks
We are grateful for the community’s participation and support, which resulted in a sold-out crowd at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center.
In addition to the show-stopping musical performances, there was a police-escorted motorcycle ride, diverse food truck lineup and a great fireworks show presented by Stanley Black & Decker Fireworks.
Thank you to Darius Rucker and our sponsors including Liberty Bank, Whole Foods Market, Stanley Black & Decker, Hartford HealthCare, Richard P. Garmany Fund, BBE Eacott, Land Rover Hartford, American Standard, Mitsubishi Electric and our friends at iHeartMedia and WFSB TV 3
– Scott Trantolo, Chief Executive Officer
We also raffled off a 2021 Harley-Davidson™ Softail® Standard motorcycle live on stage. The lucky winner was Jackie A. from Bristol, CT.
The Darius Rucker Benefit Ride & Concert raised $250,000 for an organization that does amazing work in a community that’s really close to our hearts. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford touches the lives of more than 9,000 kids annually and the new South End Club in will serve an additional 1,500!
The Darius Rucker concert is part of a multi-year commitment of charity concerts by Trantolo & Trantolo to host world-class performers on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford
