On Sunday, July 31st, Trantolo & Trantolo proudly presented our Life on 2 Wheels Benefit Ride & Concert, featuring Southern Rock legends Molly Hatchet, with local favorites Shovelhead and Cold Train.
The Molly Hatchet concert is part of a multi-year commitment of charity concerts by Trantolo & Trantolo to bring world-class performers to the region on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford – Scott Trantolo, Chief Operating Officer.
Charity Motorcycle Ride & Concert
A police-escorted motorcycle ride from Old School Harley-Davidson arrived in East Granby, CT to join the other concertgoers at Mark’s Classic Cruise Field. Attendees enjoyed a diverse lineup of family-friendly food trucks, participated in fun raffles and enjoyed the beautiful summer weather as the opening acts took the stage.
Shovelhead and Cold Train put on rocking performances to get the crowd even more fired up for one of the hardest hitting Southern rock bands of their time, Molly Hatchet.
Supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford
“The Life on Two Wheels Benefit Ride & Concert is one of our largest annual fundraisers, so we appreciate both the financial support and event organization from Trantolo & Trantolo,” said Sam Gray, President & CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford.
Since its inception three years ago, the Trantolo & Trantolo Charity Concert Series has raised $325,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford. Founded in 1860, the original and oldest Boys & Girls Club in the nation has provided a positive, safe and nurturing environment for kids. We’re proud to support their mission to build the values, character and skills young people need to succeed as productive, responsible citizens in the 21st century.
A special thanks to our sponsors, vendors, event staff and attendees for helping us make a difference in the community. See you next year!
