In 1938, Trantolo & Trantolo began business. Started by Joseph Trantolo, Sr., with a mission of dedication, honor, and commitment, Trantolo & Trantolo opened the options for legal assistance in the Hartford area. Today, these same beliefs still hold strong as the Connecticut law firm – now with additional locations in Bridgeport, Waterbury and Torrington – celebrates its 75th anniversary.

The first major change to the law firm came in 1958. Trantolo, Waldemar Lach, and Edward Krawiecki joined together to form a general practice law firm, with its location at 750 Main St. in Hartford. All attorneys were devoted to clients’ success, in addition to involvement in several legal, civic, and political organizations. As it continues today, Trantolo & Trantolo strove to provide more than legal advice. Instead, the firm’s attorneys fought on behalf of clients in court and provided emotional support.

As the second generation, Vincent Trantolo and Joe Trantolo, Jr., became part of the law firm and, by 1976, formed The Connecticut Law Clinics of Trantolo & Trantolo. Along with starting the Hartford County Bar Foundation in 1999, Vincent took a new and innovative approach to marketing law firms. In 2004, Scott and Keith Trantolo joined the firm.

Offering an approach of both compassion and legal knowledge, Trantolo & Trantolo represents individuals in need and will do whatever it takes for clients. The firm’s attorneys do not represent insurance companies and other corporations with innumerable resources.

Along with Trantolo & Trantolo’s legal mission, we are actively involved in the Connecticut community. Even with a locally-focused approach, our team is equipped with the resources to handle large corporations in court, and has many years of success to back up our approach. In the community, our staff is additionally involved in several education initiatives; as of 2012, this includes the I-Promise campaign against distracted driving.
