On Sunday, July 15, 2018, Trantolo & Trantolo presented the 4th Annual MDA Benefit Ride & Concert at Sun Valley Beach Resort in Stafford Springs, CT. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors and supporters, we hosted an amazing day to benefit the Connecticut Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The Ride & Concert

The day began at three satellite locations for scenic motorcycle rides to the venue. About 800 riders at TSI Harley-Davidson in Ellington, Yankee Harley-Davidson in Bristol and Sheldon’s Harley-Davidson in Auburn, MA were eager to get on the road to Sun Valley! One mile from the venue, the motorcycle groups were escorted by police riders onto the grounds. We are very appreciative of the support from the CT State Police troopers who helped us arrive safely!

At Sun Valley, attendees admired each other’s bikes and enjoyed food and drink before the concert began. Along with our Co-Presenting Sponsor TSI Harley-Davidson, we presented Southern Rock legends 38 Special and local favorite Cold Train for the afternoon’s entertainment. The music was great, bringing the crowd of more than 1,800 attendees to their feet.

During the concert, we awarded a lucky Springfield man with a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle! We also heard from leaders at the MDA of Connecticut, who expressed their gratitude for another successful year of support for those suffering from neuromuscular disease. With your help, we raised over $50,000 for this wonderful organization!

Why We Support MDA of Connecticut

Trantolo & Trantolo has supported the MDA of Connecticut for many years. Over time, we have raised over $500,000! Our firm is honored to organize and present this annual scenic motorcycle ride and concert event to support the great effort this organization makes to fight back against debilitating muscular diseases. Not only does the money we raise each year support research, but we have also sent countless kids to MDA Summer Camp – a place for these strong and inspirational kids to make new friends and “live unlimited”.

We want to sincerely thank each and every person involved in the organization of this great event and all who attended. Your support for the MDA of Connecticut truly makes a difference for local families battling neuromuscular disease. We hope to see you next year!
