Dream Ride 2013 just passed on August 25. Along with other organizations, Trantolo & Trantolo was a proud sponsor and organizer of the event, which has benefitted Special Olympics athletes since 2001.
Our team was extremely honored to work with organizations like Hometown Foundation and Bozzuto’s to make Dream Ride 2013 possible. Throughout the years, the network of riders has continued to expand, and for 2013, we saw participants come to the Polo Grounds in Farmington, Conn., from as far away as Canada and Florida, along with many more locations in between. Many of these participants started their travels to the central Connecticut location as early as August 16.
Since the annual event began, a total of $1,725,000 was raised for thousands of athletes. For 2013, the event raised 
$520,000 – a significant increase over last year’s $340,000. As amounts are raised on a state-by-state basis, funds go toward the athletes’ various locations.
Several members of our staff volunteered on August 25. Vincent, Keith, and Scott Trantolo all helped out, as did the Trantolo Girls.
We are so grateful to all who made this possible. We are very proud to be a part of presenting and organizing this awesome event, along with other great people and groups, including Bozzuto’s and the Hometown Foundation.
