The National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40 represents the top trial lawyers, all under the age of 40, from every U.S. state or major region. The organization selects by invitation only, after examining professionals practicing civil plaintiff or criminal defense law with top-level qualifications, a history of successful trial results, and leadership experience.
The list comes together through a multi-phase process of peer nominations and third-party research, with the goal of encompassing the highest level of skills, knowledge, and experience from the country’s best lawyers.
As well, The National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40 goes beyond just a distinction to a significant career opportunity. Those listed are able to take advantage of its networking opportunities with similar professionals who develop ideas, pursue justice on behalf of those injured by negligence, educate the public about access to courts free of bias and influence, and protect the right to a trial by jury.
With the Hartford-based law firm now in its 76th year, Atty. Trantolo represents the third generations of legal professionals representing plaintiffs in need of justice. Although he has practiced law since 2007, his history goes back to his teens, in which he helped out with Trantolo & Trantolo’s day-to-day operations and assisted his father, Atty. Vincent Trantolo. Recently, he reached a $480,000 settlement in slip and fall case Carmen Correa v. John Moneymaker.
Prior to practicing law, Atty. Trantolo earned a Bachelor of Arts at Providence College and a Juris Doctorate at Southern New England School of Law and studied at University of Massachusetts School of Law. Additionally, he is a member of the following organizations: Hartford County Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the Connecticut Bar Association.
