Vincent Trantolo, Cheri and Paul Duquette

Vincent Trantolo with Cheri and Paul Duquette

Our firm proudly presents the first Ride For The Blind Poker Run on Sunday, October 9, 2016. This event was organized to honor a former client, Paul Duquette, who was blinded in a motorcycle accident. Since the tragic incident, we have made it our mission to support the blind in our state.

In April, we presented a fishing tournament to benefit the National Federation of the Blind CT Chapter. Our staff was joined by Paul, his wife Cheri and many local community members. The NFBCT president Edward Shaham also attended the event with members of his chapter.

We have once again partnered with this wonderful organization to host a Poker Run fundraiser, which will feature a motorcycle ride, live entertainment and food. Beginning at Yankee Harley-Davidson in Bristol, participating riders will make several “poker stops” along the way to our final destination, Harwinton Pizza. Live music will be performed by the Gray Hair Dog Band, featuring NFBCT member Christy Killion.

“Trantolo and Trantolo’s dedication to this event, and to the blind of Connecticut has been nothing short of amazing! The National Federation of the Blind is honored to have Trantolo and Trantolo’s help in raising funds for the blind of Connecticut,” says Edward Shaham.
