The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
We strongly support the Special Olympics, and our firm is very proud to be part of the Cop on Top Event which will be held on June 23 and 24 at the Enfield Square Mall in Enfield, Conn. This fundraising event involves officers from the Enfield Police Department staying on the top of the building while others collect donations from below. When enough donations have been collected, the roof-bound officers will come down to the ground.
Our law firm is in a wonderful partnership to stop distracted driving with Channel 3 and the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association. This effort is called the I-Promise Pledge Campaign, and members of our firm, as well as staff from Channel 3, will be at this Special Olympics fundraising event. Shoppers at the Mall will be invited to take the I-Promise Pledge to stop distracted driving. Some Special Olympic athletes will be present, and people who are at this fun time will have the chance to see the I-Promise Motorcycle, too. This is a bike covered in I-Promise decals, asking everyone to take the I-Promise Pledge.
