Attorney McGowan grew up in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. After graduating high school there, he attended college in North Carolina and later attended law school in Massachusetts. While in law school, he presided over the Moot Court Board as President. It was a short leap from there to a career in litigation.

My father always told me ‘life isn’t fair.’ Life may not be fair, but I see my role as an attorney is to equalize the playing field; to make sure life is not unfair for my clients. I have always sought to help the underdog, the person unfairly disadvantaged by the action or inaction of another person. I am proud to say I try to give my clients the ability to make the most of their lives despite the damages done to them.
