Attorney Richard LaBrecque graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2006. Prior to joining Trantolo & Trantolo, he worked at a small to mid-sized general practice law firm in his hometown of Waterbury, Connecticut. Rich worked his way from law clerk up to partner and was responsible for the firm’s Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation practices.
He joined Trantolo & Trantolo because it is a firm with a proven track record of fighting for the little guy to hold corporations accountable for their actions. Insurance companies try to make it look like plaintiffs are trying to get something they’re not entitled to, when this isn’t the case. Even a child playing ball outside knows that if you break somebody’s window, you pay for it.
It’s the insurance companies and big business who are trying to avoid being held responsible and what’s worse is they’ll get away with it if someone doesn’t stop them. Rich’s practice focuses solely on trying cases on behalf of plaintiffs and helping injured people get the compensation they are due. He currently lives in Cheshire, Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
Commitment to Community
Attorney LaBrecque shares our dedication to community outreach and support. His past involvements include:
- Main Street Waterbury Economic Restructuring Committee (2006 – 2014)
- City of Waterbury Charter Revision Commission (2010)
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Waterbury Board of Directors (2011 – 2017)
- City of Waterbury City Plan Commission (2013 – 2019)
- City of Waterbury Charter Revision Commission (2014)
We fight for the little guy, every day. Why would anyone ever want to do something else? It is rewarding to help regular people stand up for themselves and get justice against big companies who just want them to go away as quickly and cheaply as possible.
