Legal Experience

Bert is no stranger to hard work and dedication, as he was raised by his mother, who is a retired New York City Police Officer. Bert uses those core values to effectively represent his clients. Prior to joining our firm, Bert headed one of the offices for a regional insurance defense firm. Due to his passion for helping others, Bert decided to make the “full” change to the plaintiff side. However, his prior defense experience gives him greater insight on the value of cases, which allows him to maximize settlements and verdicts for the benefit of his clients.

Bert prides himself on community service. He serves on multiple boards for non-profit organizations and was previously a board member for a charter school in Hartford, Connecticut. In 2017, Bert was given the 100 Men of Color Award for his community service and for his stellar reputation in the legal community.

Bert is admitted to practice at the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, as well as all the state courts in Connecticut.

At the core of every plaintiff’s personal injury attorney should be the burning desire to help people. It is because of that burning desire that injured people are able to trust their attorney. One can sense the passion emanating from their attorney. This burning desire, this passion, is one of the most critical elements in successfully representing injured people. This is the sort of quality that is needed to fight against insurance companies and self-insured institutions. Furthermore, this is the sort of quality that is needed to ensure that an equitable result is attained.
