Trantolo & Trantolo is proud to present the Darius Rucker Benefit Ride & Concert at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
The concert, headlined by the three-time Grammy Award Winner Darius Rucker, will celebrate the opening of the new South End Boys & Girls Club in Hartford.
“Helping to build the new South End Club is a homecoming for me as I grew up in Hartford’s South End,” said Vincent Trantolo.
About the Boys & Girls Club
Since its founding as the first Boys & Girls Club in the nation in 1860, the mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford has been to provide a safe and positive place for kids, filling the gap between school and home. From its humble beginnings, Boys & Girls Clubs has grown to become the largest youth organization in America, serving more than 4.2 6 million young people in over 4,000 738 clubs nationwide.
“I was impressed to learn how much the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford impacts kids’ lives in a positive, safe way. I’m proud to use my music to help celebrate more than 160 years of great futures,” said Rucker, who has a career-long history of supporting charitable causes.
