Education

Attorney Vitale graduated Cum Laude from Albertus Magnus College with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Vermont and the Federal District Courts for both Connecticut and Vermont.

Legal Experience

Attorney Laureen Vitale has over 30 years of experience settling and going to trial on cases as a trial lawyer. She also has extensive experience with alternate dispute resolution, including meditations and arbitrations. 

Attorney Vitale is dedicated to helping her clients achieve the best results and has a deep passion for coming to the aid of others in need. She tirelessly pursues justice for clients who have been injured due to the recklessness of others, while ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

Prior to joining Trantolo & Trantolo, Attorney Vitale worked in insurance defense litigation, family law and criminal defense. Attorney Vitale has extensive experience in pro bono work, including family court-related matters and custody cases involving children.

Attorney Vitale is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. She is also a James W. Cooper Fellow with the Connecticut Bar Foundation.

Outside the Office

When she’s not advocating for her clients, Attorney Vitale can be found listening to music, reading Tom Clancy books or volunteering at soup kitchens and charitable events. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, getting away to New York City or going to the Berkshires or Vermont to ski, golf, hike and spend a day at the spa.
