Attorney Peragine is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Connecticut. He received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Cortland in 2003 and his law degree from the University Of Massachusetts School Of Law in 2006. He graduated law school 5th in his class and was on the Dean’s List. He was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 2006.
Attorney Peragine is a trial attorney who is known throughout the state as courteous yet aggressive litigator who fights for those who have been injured as the result of someone else’s negligence. He began his career as a trial attorney with the State of Connecticut as a prosecutor. During his time as a prosecutor Attorney Peragine honed his skills in the court room as he tried numerous cases to verdict. Attorney Peragine also managed his own law firm where he represented his clients in civil litigation, business law, and personal injury matters
Following his time at the prosecutor’s office he merged his private law firm with a litigation and personal injury firm in East Hartford where he was the lead trial attorney and managed a caseload of 200 cases. He aggressively represented his clients in pre-trial negotiations and if needed would try a case to a verdict.
Attorney Peragine now brings his aggressive quality and zealous representation of his clients to Trantolo and Trantolo LLC. He will not back down to the tactics used by the insurance companies or their defense attorneys. If he cannot get a fair and reasonable settlement offer through negotiations he will bring the case to trial as he has done many times before.
In 2010 and again in 2011 Attorney Robert J. Peragine was selected for inclusion on the New England Super Lawyers Rising Stars lists, featuring outstanding young lawyers. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list.
In his free time Attorney Peragine enjoys playing ice hockey. He played collegiate hockey as a goaltender and continues to play on local men’s teams. The New Jersey Devils, New York Giants and New York Yankees are amongst his favorite sport teams. Music is also a big part of Attorney Peragine’s life. He has played guitar for several years and enjoys going to Dave Matthews Concerts during the summer with his family and friends.
